Our Story
Ole Interactive was founded in 2018 as the digital division of Ole Communications to manage its portfolio of digital assets. The group began acquiring digital publishers a year earlier (2017) with an investment in our first digital joint venture in the region: PlayGround Americas.
In 2019, our media portfolio grew via the acquisition of AmericaDigital.com, i24Mujer, EsTrending, and RecetasParaAdelgazar, leading to a combined audience of 77 million people.
A year later, Ole Interactive officially launched its first AdNetwork: Revamplify, the first programmatic product in our portfolio and an important diversification of the group’s offering.
By 2021, Ole Interactive expanded its owned & operated digital sales and content production capabilities to every major market in the territory, rebranding this sales-driven division under the OI brand.
2022 was a year of significant growth for the group: First, we relaunched BeisbolPlay, quickly establishing it as the world’s largest Spanish-language baseball-centered digital publisher. BeisbolPlay’s subscription streaming service offers access to Winter-league baseball live throughout the world.
That same year, the group invested in PML and later merged it with Revamplify to form OI-PML. Expanding the PML business across LatAm, and establishing the group’s Ad Network and digital advertising solutions.
In 2023, Playground Americas took control of the brand and the global management of the media outlet.
In 2025, Ole Interactive formed a new joint venture, this time to create Tastemade Latin America, officially entering the rapidly expanding world of FAST & CTV.
The group’s current portfolio includes media outlets, digital sales and production companies, as well as advertising and digital consulting services.
